About Us
Venia Royston, founder of Bryter Daze was born in Los Angeles, CA, she later relocated to the Bay area in 1984 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2003. Her passion for supporting and empowering women led her to found Healing Hands Home for Battered Women in 2009, later changed to Bryter Daze in 2023. After a successful career in the Aerospace industry, she transitioned to retail, where she held several management positions. In 2020, she retired from the commercial sector to dedicate her time to Bryter Daze, a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization.
Bryter Daze serves Contra Costa and Solano County clients needing services, programs, and training. Our organization aims to provide the necessary tools to equip clients to become empowered, enriched, and independent individuals. Bryter Daze services are unique in their female-only clientele and comprehensive “self-awareness” program. Our objective is to offer extended transitional housing options for our clients in the future.
The organization Bryter Daze maintains a strong and meaningful presence in the community through its consistent outreach and support to individuals in correctional facilities. In addition, it plays a crucial role in empowering women and families, guiding them to envision and realize a brighter future through active participation in the various programs and initiatives offered by Bryter Daze. The organization's ultimate goal is to deeply and persistently impact the lives of women, equipping them with the tools and support they need to fully embrace their purpose and potential.
By creating a nurturing community environment, Bryter Daze seeks to inspire, uplift, and empower women, enabling them to effect significant and transformative change in the world through their faith and actions, ultimately serving in the Kingdom of God.
Venia is a minister of the gospel, Evangelist, and Pastor of Membership Development. Her leadership and personal commitment are at the heart of Bryter Daze’s mission.
